That’s because Squidgies were deliberately designed as a completely modular system; with an almost infinite variety of combinations and permutations.

But finally, after exhaustive field testing, we have produced the following easy reference guide to the optimum combination of Squidgy tail and Squidgy jig head hook size. Similar information also appears in a sticker on the back of every new pack of Squidgy soft plastic tails.

Please note, however, that these are SUGGESTIONS only. You should feel free to experiment beyond our suggestions, and you must also remember that we typically offer several head weights in each hook size. Vary the weight of your jig head to suit prevailing conditions and, above all, don’t be afraid to experiment!
